(I remember: I do! I had initiated this Web Journal
the same week... as I did my Deezer account!
They are forever linked therefore...)
You just go there - I am not about to embed
another music provider playlist on here - no way!
Been there - done that!
NEVERMORE!
The original LWJ had the perfect tune
~at least~
as its official theme song of sorts... indeed!
Alas, Bravejournal... is dead.
(This "BREVE NET" may be as well ~
such is the fate of the copy cat...)
That... is another Bravejournal.
Ignore it...
BUT THE BRAVENET... LIVES ON.
And though it appears to have taken away
my dear old LWJ from me...
Hope it's not a bad omen
for my Deezer now!

Aye, to tell the truth...
ReplyDeleteThe original "LWJ" was just a blog - in the sense of weblog, almost a diary, to vent frustrations, immortalize moods (as immortalized as it can be, even digitally - even on the internet!)
It wasn't anything close to an attempt to quash journalism - and prove that I, the blogger, can shell out far superior editorials than the best of them can...!
No - it sure wasn't...
ReplyDelete...THIS, this Luminous Journal here, *is*.
;-)
It's amusing, though, to see the old LWJ on Bravenet still get bombarded by spammy commentary like it does - even to this day!
ReplyDeleteAnd, as with everything else on the ethereal bandwidth of the ever wondrous wild web (otherwise known as the world wide web)
...the days were numbered, hmm?
The moment I drew the attention upon the LWJ - its days were!
...indeed.
Now, lest you are logged into Bravenet yourselves, partaking of their services already, clicking on the URL of my erstwhile LWJ will only lead you to... Bravenet HQ indeed.
The Brave new world cyber peeps there appear to have decided - perhaps influenced by the spam commentary it received; or this very post right here, on the competition's network - that I needed not TWO services... essentially the same.
And no, I do not mean Blogger and Bravenet.
I mean LWJ... and *LuminousLand* ~ indeed!
LuminousLand endures ~ lives on...
And, yes, it is essentially the same as LWJ - only more stylish, more embellished... with considerably fewer smilies, too.
(Emoticons are completely absent, as a matter of fact!)
(I miss them)
:-(
